For those of you who missed out on our Easter trip to Alpe D'Huez for BUSC Main Event, it was a really great week. Not only was there great weather, partying and socialising, but Newcastle had 38 competitors representing the university.
Congratulations to those of you who competed, especially the (many) medal winners! For those of you who don't know, Newcastle won the BUCS competition, getting the most BUCS points (86) for the university, and we were also overall BUSC winners!! A fantastic effort of 10 medals were won, including those by NUSSC newcomers:
Thinking about choosing Newcastle University this year?
If you're at all interested in Snowsports, even if you've never tried them before, make sure you get involved with NUSSC (Newcastle University Ski & Snowboard Club)
We don't just do trips aboard. There's weekly race training for boarders and skiiers, as well as regular snowdome trips for aspiring freestylers and those who want to learn, or just refresh their skiing/boarding.
With weekly socials and events, NUSSC has fun on and off the slope, so if you're coming to Newcastle, get involved!!
